1. General

a.) Upon payment of the total amount stated in the offer, the right to use the photos and the video is transferred to the bridal couple (client). The copyright remains with Johannes Rausch.

2. Booking and payment

a.) The payment in advance has to be paid in cash or by bank transfer within the next 14 days.

b.) After the delivery of the produced product, the remaining amount will be paid in cash or by bank transfer within the next 14 days.

c.) All packages include travel costs up to 100 kilometres from Berlin. For distances beyond this, we reserve the right to charge a fee for further travel or rail costs.

e.) For location over 100 kilometres from Berlin, the accommodation must be provided by the client for the night of the wedding and the night before the wedding.

3. Cancellations

a.) Weddings sometimes have to be cancelled. We strongly recommend that all couples take out comprehensive marriage insurance to protect themselves from costs if they have to quit.

b.) The customer may cancel this booking at any time by written notice to Johannes Rausch.

c.) The cancellation fees are as follows:

1.) Cancellation will be made within the next 14 days after booking = 10% of the full amount

2.) Cancellation is made more than thirty days before the date of the wedding = pre-paid deposit amount

3.) Cancellation takes place in thirty days before the date of the wedding =  full amount

d.) Any variations in the times, dates, or to the planned event that may impact on the booking form should be communicated to Johannes Rausch as soon as possible.

e.) If the wedding cannot be carried out due to force majeure (e.g. accident, illness or similar), the contractor waives the claim of the open amount. If the wedding takes place at a later date due to force majeure, this contract will continue to apply if it is feasible for the contractor.

f.) Is it Johannes Rausch due to force majeure (e.g. accident, illness or similar) not possible to carry out the order or to deliver the film within six months, the bride and groom waive compensation claims or the passing of any additional costs on the photographers. However, in this case, the contractor will endeavour to provide a replacement filmer.

g.) Our team uses very high-quality equipment, but we assume no liability for radio signal loss, battery failure, equipment failure and material defects beyond our control. In the unlikely event of camera failure, our liabilities are limited to the reimbursement of all amounts paid by the customer. Of course, we always have spare cameras and spare microphones here.

h.) Every effort is made to ensure perfect colour and light reproduction, but certain conditions may not be accurate, such as mixed indoor and outdoor lighting, hard shadows and poor lighting conditions. With these factors beyond our control, we will try to produce the best possible image. If a particular segment of the event is either unrecorded, partially recorded or not part of the final edited film, it is at the sole discretion of Johannes Rausch. If something happens at the wedding that the customer does not want to appear in the final movie, the customer must notify Johannes Rausch in writing before starting the post-production.

i.) The cameraman alone determines all the shots he takes on the day of the wedding. While every effort is being made to get the best position for the camera (s) to film the event, this may not always be possible if restrictions are imposed on us during the day. Johannes Rausch cannot guarantee the coverage of any particular person or group during the day.

j.) The customer must provide a safe working environment and is responsible for damage to our equipment by his guests and must pay for replacement or repair.

4. Food

If video coverage is greater than 5 hours, the Client must provide a hot meal to the camera operative. It is very important that it is served at the same time as any other food is served to guests. Vendor meals provided at any other time i.e. at the end of guest service may affect what footage we are able available to capture.

5. The processing

a. Johannes Rausch will endeavour to build your film around any special requests made within this booking form, but such requests are not binding instructions. Artistic interpretation cannot be guaranteed but every attempt will be made to comply with the Customer(s) wishes. Johannes Rausch will not be held responsible for scenes not included due to inclement weather or other conditions outside of Johannes Rausch control.

b. Any final editing decisions are of the sole discretion of  Johannes Rausch. 

c. Any changes requested on the final copy once sent out will be subject to a further charge.

d. Additional copies will be supplied at current retail costs.

6. Acceptance of Goods

a. The Customer(s) shall within seven days from the delivery of goods give written notice to the Company of any respect in which it is alleged that the Goods do not comply with the Booking Form. Subject to any such notice, the goods will be deemed to comply with the Booking Form in all respects.

7. Additional

a.) We will keep a master copy of your film in our archive for up to one year. You can order additional copies within this period as needed. If you would like to order more copies after one year, we can not guarantee that a copy will be available.

b.) If the item "The video may be published" in the booking form with "Yes" has been answered, the following applies. All photos and videos may be used by Johannes Rausch as a reference for self-promotion. The client authorizes Johannes Rausch to issue any media that is contained in any form.
